Once a month, we have our ” Movie Night’s” which are open to all and are free of charge. This month on Tuesday the 25th of July we watch the 2015 movie ” Spotlight”. An all star cast tells the true story of the “Spotlight” team of investigative journalists at The Boston Globe newspaper as they sought to uncover the truth about child abuse in the Archdiocese of Boston. Released in 2015 on Rotten Tomatoes it has a score of 97%. Of the film The Wall Street Journal said; “to turn a spotlight fittingly on ” Spotlight”, its the years best movie so far, and a rarity among countless dramatizations that claim to be based on actual events”.
